Mat, Shannon, Elizabeth, Peter, Caleb and Samuel Anderson are working with Baptist Mission Australia and have been serving in Outback Australia since 2018. They are ministering to the northern communities of Kalkarindji and Lajamanu in Northern Territory, which is about 544 km south of Darwin, where they currently live. We pray that they will continue to allow new relationships to grow as they serve God in these and the wider communities. We always look forward to their monthly newsletters and pray for them as they take the Gospel message to the people in the NT.
Our church supports a young man called SAHIN from Southern Bangladesh through Baptist World Aid Australia Child Sponsorship. Sahin lives with his mum, dad and brother in a house made of iron sheets with a tin roof and mud floor. His mum is a homemaker and his dad works as a casual agricultural labourer. He likes playing football. Through our sponsorship, Sahin has access to much needed education in a friendly learning environment. Both he and his family will also have improved health, nutrition and well being. We receive regular updates on his progress and are very pleased to be involved in his future.
