Missions

REGEN in Northern Uganda

Our church supports a young lad called REGEN in Northern Uganda through Baptist World Aid Australia Child sponsorship. Regen lives in a mud brick hut in a refugee community on the Sudan border with his mother (a subsistence farmer), aunt and four siblings. He likes playing soccer with his friends and would like to become an engineer after graduating. The school he attends is nearby but each class can have up to 100 students. The family also have access to a market and medical centre. We receive regular updates on Regen’s progress and are very pleased to be involved in his future.

The Anderson family in the Northern Territory

Mat, Shannon, Elizabeth, Peter, Caleb and Samuel Anderson are working with Global Interaction among the Gurindji and Walpiri people in the Northern Territory. At present they are involved in language study, cultural learning and  establishing friendships among the local people. We look forward to their monthly newsletters and pray for them regularly as they take the Gospel message to the people in the NT.
